Why We Exist
Confessional Statement
This summary reflects our shared convictions about the gospel, God's Word, and the Church. It's rooted in historic Christian orthodoxy and centers on the good news of Jesus Christ.

Triune God
One God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal, sovereign, loving, and holy. He is the source of all life and truth, worthy of our worship and trust.
Revelation
God has revealed himself through creation, through the incarnation of Jesus, and through the inspired Scriptures, which are authoritative and inerrant. Through His Word, we come to know who God is and how we are to live before Him.
Creation of Humanity
Humanity is made in God's image as male and female, with distinct and complementary roles. Marriage reflects Christ's union with the Church. Each person has dignity, value, and purpose in God's design.
The Fall
All humanity is corrupted by sin and in need of God's gracious rescue. Sin separates us from God and affects every part of creation.
The Plan of God
Salvation is rooted in God's eternal purposes; he calls, justifies, sanctifies, and will glorify those who believe. God's redemptive plan is entirely by grace and brings him glory.
The Gospel
The central message is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. It is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
The Redemption of Christ
Jesus' full divinity and humanity, substitutionary death, resurrection, ascension, and mediating role are emphasized. He alone is our Savior, fully sufficient to reconcile us to God.
Justification
By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, His obedience is credited to believers. We are declared righteous before God not by our works, but by Christ's finished work on the cross.
Power of the Holy Spirit
The Spirit regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and unites believers with Christ. He enables us to live transformed lives and equips us for ministry.
Kingdom of God
Already here but not yet fully realized, believers live out kingdom life in the world. We anticipate the day when Christ returns and his reign is fully established.
God's New People
The Church is central to God's mission, manifest in local expressions, marked by the gospel message, mission, and community life. Together, we reflect Christ's love and proclaim his truth to the world.
Baptism and the Lord's Supper
Instituted by Christ, baptism marks entrance into the covenant community, and the Lord's Supper renews and nourishes our covenant life. These sacred practices are visible signs of grace and reminders of Christ's saving work.
The Restoration of All Things
Jesus will return bodily to judge the living and the dead, restoring all things in the new heavens and new earth. On that day, sin and suffering will be no more, and God's people will dwell in eternal joy with him.
