CLCC Five Core Values

At Cross Life Community Church, our mission is to transform lives toward wholeness in Christ for the sake of others. These five core values guide how we live out that mission together. They shape our relationships, our worship, and our everyday rhythms as a church family. Together, these values shape us into a community that follows Jesus wholeheartedly and shares His healing, restoration, and abundant life with others.

We Welcome All

We extend Christlike hospitality to all, creating space for belonging. We believe every person is made in the image of God and deeply loved by Him. As followers of Christ, we intentionally open our hearts, homes, and gatherings to others regardless of background, story, or status. Our aim is not simply to be friendly, but to reflect the radical welcome of Jesus, creating a church culture where people feel seen, safe, and invited into an authentic community. In a world marked by isolation and division, we become a signpost of God's inclusive love.

We Build Authentic Communities

We commit to honest, grace-filled relationships shaped by the love of Christ. We were never meant to walk the Christian life alone. God forms us through relationships, where we are truly known and still deeply loved. We strive to cultivate a community where people can bring their real selves: joys, doubts, questions, and wounds. In this space, grace and truth work together to encourage growth, accountability, and healing. Through mutual encouragement and vulnerability, we are formed into the likeness of Christ.

We Embrace the Beauty in Brokenness

We believe God reveals His glory through our weakness and need. Life is often messy, and brokenness is a part of the human experience. At CLCC, we don't pretend to have it all together. Instead, we bring our struggles, failures, and vulnerabilities before God and one another. It is in these moments of honesty and dependence that God's power shines brightest. We trust that through brokenness, God is shaping us, revealing His grace, and making us more like Jesus. Our brokenness becomes a canvas for His glory.

We Are Surprised by Grace

We live in joyful response to God's unearned kindness, always amazed by His mercy. God's grace is never something we earn or deserve; it is a free and lavish gift. This truth humbles us and fills us with gratitude. Living "surprised by grace" means we continually marvel at God's mercy, allowing it to transform how we view ourselves and others. It calls us to extend the same kindness and forgiveness we've received to those around us, reflecting God's heart in everyday life.

We Are Anchored in God's Word

We anchor our lives in Scripture, trusting it as the true and living Word of God. The Bible is our foundation, guiding, correcting, and inspiring us in all areas of life. We are committed to faithfully studying and applying God's Word, knowing it shapes our identity, our mission, and our hope. In a world of shifting values and confusion, Scripture anchors us in truth and equips us to live out our faith authentically and confidently.
