Community Groups

At Cross Life Community Church, we believe that church is more than a Sunday service; it's about doing life together. That's where Community Groups come in. A Community Group is a small group of people who meet regularly to grow in faith, share life's ups and downs, and experience the love of Christ through real, supportive relationships. These gatherings are the heartbeat of our church, a place where you can belong, be known, and become more like Jesus.

Our Vision

Community Groups are spaces where individuals are known, loved, and supported, places where meaningful relationships are formed, faith is deepened, and lives are transformed toward wholeness in Christ through the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Core Values of Community Groups

  • Christ-Centered Relationships:Building friendships that help us follow Jesus together.
  • Authentic Community:Sharing life's joys and struggles in a safe and caring space.
  • Spiritual Growth:Encouraging each other to grow deeper in our walk with God.
  • Missional Living:Living out our faith by serving and sharing the gospel in our everyday lives.

What Happens During a Gathering?

Each Community Group follows a simple, meaningful rhythm using the acronym M.I.N.D.S., inspired by Philippians 2:5–11.

  • M – Meal: Share food and connect with one another.
  • I – Ice Breaker: A fun question or activity to warm up the group.
  • N – News: Brief church announcements to stay connected.
  • D – Discussion: Reflect on the Sunday sermon with thoughtful conversation and application.
  • S – Sharing: Share praise reports and prayer requests.

Closing Prayer: End by lifting one another up in prayer.

Why Join a Community Group?

Because we all need people walking with us as we follow Jesus, Community Groups are where faith becomes personal, where friendships grow, and where transformation happens, not alone, but together.
